The PoL makes every effort to make its website physics-of-life.tu-dresden.de accessible without barriers in accordance with the national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Issuing of this Declaration on Accessibility

This declaration was issued on 4 September 2020. The last verification of this website by means of self-assessment was carried out on 2 December 2025.

The basis for the issuing of this Declaration on Accessibility is a self-assessment of the website's compatibility with the requirements of the BfWebG in accordance with BITV 2.0, carried out by PoL.

Status of compatibility with the requirements of the BITV

The web presence of the PoL does not yet fully correspond to the current state of accessibility.

Content that is not deemed accessible

• Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) attributes for orientation within elements might not be available throughout the whole website
• Alternatives for images and graphic elements are not fully available.
• Words and sections in other languages can currently not be marked (Legal Notice and Privacy Policy pages).
• In some places (especially headers on top of background images), contrasts between background and text might not be high enough.
