IIT Kanpur initiated Hindi Classes for International Students

The Office of International Relations at IIT Kanpur has initiated Hindi classes in May 2024 for international students to enhance their campus experience and ease everyday interactions. Recognizing the importance of language in creating a sense of belonging and community, these classes will help students seamlessly integrate with daily life and culture of IIT Kanpur.

The initiative was inaugurated by Prof. Kantesh Balani, Dean of International Relations, Ms. Maitreyi and Mr. Govind from Shivani Centre, and Ms. Prerna, Mr. Shambhu and Mr. Anoop from DoIR office. The event highlighted the significance of this effort in building a more inclusive and supportive environment for international students.
