### IIT Kanpur initiated Hindi Classes for International Students

The **Office of International Relations** at **IIT Kanpur** has initiated **Hindi classes** in May 2024 for international students to enhance their campus experience and ease everyday interactions. Recognizing the importance of language in creating a sense of belonging and community, these classes will help students seamlessly integrate with daily life and culture of IIT Kanpur.

The initiative was inaugurated by **Prof. Kantesh Balani**, Dean of International Relations, **Ms. Maitreyi** and **Mr. Govind** from Shivani Centre, and **Ms. Prerna**, **Mr. Shambhu** and **Mr. Anoop** from DoIR office. The event highlighted the significance of this effort in building a more inclusive and supportive environment for international students.
