Introduction\ The Centre of Social Innovation (CoSI) Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS was established on November 2014. Social Innovation refers to a novel solution to a social problem that is effective, efficient, sustainable for which the value created accrues primarily to society as a whole rather than private individuals. Social innovation supports the development, implementation, and sustainability, addressing social needs through innovative approaches.\ \ The Centre provides support to identify and develop core research agenda and capabilities in the fundamental and advanced domains related to intelligent cities, from the social and humanities dimension - Social, Economics and Behavioral studies.\ \

Vision\ To be a leader for the advancement of society through social innovation.\ \

Mission\

• To spearhead multi-disciplinary research that will generate innovative and sustainable solutions towards improving quality of life in the context of modern cities.\
• To strategise and enhance the diffusion and adoption of innovation for the betterment of society through strategic partnership.\
• To conduct research for enhancement on society’s entrepreneurial capabilities through technology and innovation.
