Strategic Planning - Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the organization's research goals and objectives. - Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and coherence. Performance Measurement - Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of research activities. - Establish performance metrics to track progress and evaluate the success of research projects. Data Analysis - Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to research activities. - Utilize data analytics to derive insights and inform decision-making processes.	The Planning & Performance Reporting unit includes: Reporting - Generate comprehensive and timely reports on the performance of research initiatives. - Provide clear and concise information to support informed decision-making by management and stakeholders. Compliance - Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and ethical standards in research. - Monitor compliance with funding agency guidelines and reporting obligations. Communication - Facilitate communication between different departments and teams within the research organization. - Disseminate information regarding research achievements, challenges, and strategic directions to internal and external stakeholders. Budgeting and Resource Allocation - Work with budgeting teams to develop research project budgets. - Allocate resources efficiently to maximize research output within budget constraints.
