Principal Sean Stevens '10 didn't hesitate to show off his dance moves at the high school's prom on June 7. While it was a delightful surprise for the nearly 1.5 million viewers of the video posted online (view instagram video here), for Principal Stevens's students it was just another day at their school under his inspiring leadership.
In a surprise ceremony in front of her students, Jody-Anne Jones '06, principal of North Star Academy Clinton Hill Middle School of Newark, was honored Wednesday with the 2018 Ryan Award for exceptional school leadership, a national award that honors urban principals who are closing the achievement gap.
