The Research Degrees subject Sub-Committees consider applications from research students in the academic faculties.
Humanities, environment and social sciences
The Humanities, Environment and Social Sciences Sub-Committee considers mainly applications from research students in Arts, Architecture, Built Environment, Business, Education, English, History of Art, History, Law, Psychology, Philosophy, Publishing, Real Estate & Construction (when appropriate) and Social Sciences (including Primate Conservation).
The deadline for applications to be submitted to the Department or Faculty Postgraduate Research Tutor is earlier than those set centrally.
Please note that the deadline for submitting complete, signed applications to Maria Maroulaki in the Research Degrees Team is 2 weeks before the date of the meeting.
In addition you will be required to submit a complete application to your Faculty or Department Postgraduate Research Tutor 4 weeks before the date of the meeting.
Meetings will be held online from 10:00 - 12:00.

Science and Technology
The Science and Technology Sub-Committee considers mainly applications from research students in Architecture (when appropriate), Biological and Medical Sciences; Computing; Engineering; Mathematics; Nursing & Midwifery; Technology; Real Estate and Construction (when appropriate), Sport, Nutrition & Allied Health Professionals.
The deadline for applications to be submitted to the Department or Faculty Postgraduate Research Tutor is earlier than those set centrally.
