The Research Degrees subject Sub-Committees consider applications from research students in the academic faculties.

## Humanities, environment and social sciences

The Humanities, Environment and Social Sciences Sub-Committee considers mainly applications from research students in Arts, Architecture, Built Environment, Business, Education, English, History of Art, History, Law, Psychology, Philosophy, Publishing, Real Estate & Construction (when appropriate) and Social Sciences (including Primate Conservation).

**The deadline for applications to be submitted to the Department or Faculty Postgraduate Research Tutor is earlier than those set centrally.**

Please note that the deadline for submitting complete, signed applications to [Maria Maroulaki](mailto:p0094581@brookes.ac.uk) in the Research Degrees Team is 2 weeks before the date of the meeting.

In addition you will be required to submit a complete application to your Faculty or Department Postgraduate Research Tutor 4 weeks before the date of the meeting.

Meetings will be held online from 10:00 - 12:00.

## Science and Technology

The Science and Technology Sub-Committee considers mainly applications from research students in Architecture (when appropriate), Biological and Medical Sciences; Computing; Engineering; Mathematics; Nursing & Midwifery; Technology; Real Estate and Construction (when appropriate), Sport, Nutrition & Allied Health Professionals.

**The deadline for applications to be submitted to the Department or Faculty Postgraduate Research Tutor is earlier than those set centrally.**

Please note that the deadline for submitting complete, signed applications to the Research Degrees Team is **2 weeks** before the date of the meeting.

In addition you will be required to submit a complete application to your Postgraduate Research Tutor 4 weeks before the date of the meeting.

Meetings will be held online from 10:00 - 12:00.
