The campaign aims to expand students’ awareness of the nature of professions related to their field of specialization and to raise students’ awareness of the skills required for professions in the job market, in addition to creating awareness among students of the importance of career planning.
Professions
Doctor’s Career
Doctors examine patients to diagnose diseases and injuries, prescribe appropriate treatment, or refer patients to specialized physicians for further care. They may instruct them on how to follow a healthy lifestyle.
Skills:
- Emotional intelligence skills to understand people’s problems and care for them.
- Excellent communication skills to be able to explain diagnosis and treatment clearly to the patient.
- Analytical skills to assess disease and infection, and to suggest the best treatment methods.
- Precision and ingenuity in conducting both complex surgeries and common medical procedures.
- Good technical and computer skills to keep records and operate common medical devices.
Career Paths:
Graduate: You will need to complete a medical school degree, usually 5-7 years.
Junior Doctor: Work and teach in a foundation program or so-called “residency” for 2 years or more. After that, you will go through a specialized training period of 3-6 years in one field of your choice from more than 60 different areas, for example, pediatrics, internal medicine, or psychiatry.
General Physician: The general physician is usually the first point of contact for patients with health problems.

Dental Career
Dentists diagnose and treat gum disease and teeth decay, advise patients on the most effective methods of cleaning teeth and mouth and provide cosmetic treatments to improve the appearance of teeth. Dentists may work in hospitals to perform restorative surgeries for patients with facial injuries, or they may perform dental routine check-ups for dental care in specialized clinics.

- Effective leadership skills to recruit, train, manage a dental practice team.
- Good communication and relationship-building skills to understand patients and their problems and to be able to make them feel comfortable.

Career Paths:
Graduated: You will need to study at a dental school to obtain a dental degree to practice this profession. The program extends for 5 years, including two years of practical training.
General dentist: General dentist evaluates dental health care, provides advice on preventing dental diseases, and performs some medical procedures (dislodged or simple fillings). Works in specialized centers, mobile clinics, or hospitals.

A Physiotherapist plays a major role in treating patients with physical problems resulting from injuries, disabilities, diseases or old age. Accountants play a key role in all companies and institutions, as they organize financial operations and ensure the smooth flow of laws related to financial systems, and prepare and write annual financial reports. Some of them may specialize in detecting financial misappropriation in the institution.

He/ She also analyzes and describes the problems that the system suffers from by working directly with users and programmers, in addition to providing suggestions on how to re-design the system to help in increasing its efficiency.

The marketing specialist is responsible for introducing the public to the brand and create loyalty to it in the targeted group. Through marketing research prepared in different ways, to collect information that helps institutions understand their customers’ needs and priorities and create and develop new products that contribute to increasing sales and profits of institutions and then analyzing the results to write reports on people’s opinions of the product and how to develop and improve it. It may include political or social issues.
