# Follow Your Career Passion Campaign

The campaign aims to expand students’ awareness of the nature of professions related to their field of
specialization and to raise students’ awareness of the skills required for professions in the job market, in
addition to creating awareness among students of the importance of career planning.
##### Professions
## [Doctor’s Career](#collapse1 "Doctor’s Career")
Doctors examine patients to diagnose diseases and injuries, prescribe appropriate treatment,
or refer patients to specialized physicians for further care. They may instruct them on how
to follow a healthy lifestyle.
### Skills:
- Emotional intelligence skills to understand people’s problems and care for them.
- Excellent communication skills to be able to explain diagnosis and treatment clearly to
the patient.
- Analytical skills to assess disease and infection, and to suggest the best treatment
methods.
- Precision and ingenuity in conducting both complex surgeries and common medical
procedures.
- Good technical and computer skills to keep records and operate common medical devices.
### Career Paths:
**Graduate:** You will need to complete a medical school
degree, usually 5-7 years.
**Junior Doctor:** Work and teach in a foundation
program or so-called “residency” for 2 years or more. After that, you will go through a
specialized training period of 3-6 years in one field of your choice from more than 60
different areas, for example, pediatrics, internal medicine, or psychiatry.
**General Physician:** The general physician is

**Graduated:** You will need to study at a dental school to
