Who is eligible for a QUID card?
Any active student study in Qatar University is eligible to issue a QUID card.
How do I request for a new QUID card?
There are two ways to request for a new QUID card,
- Apply online in the WebCard Center.
- Students can also visit the Student Auxiliary Services Section to capture a photo.
How can I pay when a fees is charged for the QUID issuance?
You can visit treasury office in activity building, or pay via E-Payment System
What identification (ID) do I need to collect my QUID card?
A student need to present a valid Qatari ID/Passport to collect the campus card.
How long is my card valid for?
The card is valid inside campus until you graduate, unless you want to use the card outside the university. You can issue a replacement card once you upload the image again, by submitting an electronic application for the campus card using your QU username and password.

This service fee per card is 50 QR.
What do I do if there is a problem with my Name on the card?
A student in this case should go to the one step section that located in the admission and registration building (C12) to fill the modification form; when the name is corrected, the Student Auxiliary Services Section can then print the card with correct spelling.
What do I do if my QUID card is lost or stolen?
- Students must report a lost card through the university's website by logging in electronically in the Student Auxiliary Services Section, so that the card can be deactivated.
- Then, clicking on “report lost card”, a message will appear on the screen to confirm that the student’s card has been deactivated. The student will be prompted to upload a photo again by submitting an electronic application for the university card using their QU username and password.

- View the specifications of the required image.
What do I do if I cannot upload my picture on the website?
The student needs to check the photo size [The acceptable photo size is 2" X 1.75"] and resolution of the photo as most of the current cameras generate a high resolution photo with large size hence; the system doesn't accept the photo. Otherwise, contact or visit the Student Auxiliary Services Section as soon as possible to fix the issue.
What do I do if I found that the QUID card fees are duplicated?
Duplicated fees are automatically withdrawn. If this does not happen please contact the Student Auxiliary Services Section.
What do I do if I am a graduate student?
Visit the Alumni office that located in higher administration building (B01)- ground floor- office 123-126, To collect their membership card.
How do I find out about discounts?
The discount booklet is available in the QU website, and QU mobile application.
If someone used my QUID card before I report it lost or stolen, can I get credit for the amount that was used?
Unfortunately, there is no credit will be removed, and the student has to pay for the amount that has been used.
What happens to my old card when I get a new one?
Your previously issued One Card will be permanently cancelled and cannot be reactivated.
I reported my card lost but I found it. How do I reactivate it
No, previously issued QUID cards cannot be reactivated.
I am a staff faculty member as well as a student, what type of card will I have?
In this case, you have to get both ID cards, a staff /faculty member ID and a student ID.
