# Applied Sustainability Strategies

## Program Overview

Sustainability is no longer an optional agenda. It is a business imperative shaping investment, policy, and reputation. Despite this, many organizations struggle to translate their sustainability strategies into practical actions that fit their specific context.

This **four-day executive program** equips leaders in the GCC region with the frameworks, tools, and leadership capabilities **to embed sustainability into organizational strategy and performance**. Through systems thinking, applied analytics, and scenario-based learning, participants will enhance their ability to make informed decisions in uncertain situations, delivering a lasting impact.

The first three days of the program focus on developing strong skills in resource management, innovation, and governance grounded in sustainability principles. The final day culminates in an interactive simulation where participants apply their learning to real-world challenges that balance economic, environmental, and social objectives.

- Managing complexity and decision-making under uncertainty

**Day 2: Resources, Value Chains, and Innovation**

- Sustainable resource management in business and operations
- Sustainable supply chains and sourcing
- Circular economy and innovation for transformation

**Day 3: Governance, Finance, and Leadership**

- Governance, policy, and institutional design for sustainable transformation
- Sustainable finance, ESG integration, and carbon pricing mechanisms
- Leadership and systems change for organizational and stakeholder impact

**Day 4: Simulation and Application**

- Hands-on simulation integrating strategy, finance, and impact decisions
- Team reflection and peer learning
- Designing an actionable sustainability roadmap for your organization
