The University of Vienna welcomes doctoral candidates from all around the world. Around one third of our doctoral candidates are from outside of Austria, 15% come from Third Countries.
International applicants who aim at applying for a doctoral programme at the University of Vienna can find information on the programmes and the process here. The doctoral programmes are open to all nationalities, there are no specific programmes for international applicants.
