Call 112 in emergency situations involving danger to life, health, or property.

You will be connected to SOS Alarm, which can dispatch

- ambulance
- fire and rescue services
- police
- Giftinformationscentralen (Swedish Poisons Information Centre)

Stockholm University has around 50 defibrillators on its campuses. They are placed in alarmed cabinets – when opened, an alert goes to security staff trained in CPR and AED.

- Call 112 before starting CPR.
- Send someone to meet the ambulance.

113 13 is Sweden’s national information number.\
You can call this number to receive or provide information during serious accidents or crises in society.

If you need healthcare advice and are unsure where to turn, you can call 1177.

The service is available 24 hours a day, and you will receive professional medical advice in English or Swedish.

## [Report incidents and accidents in the IA system](#svid10_6504115e19a0f44cd8d203f)

Students at Stockholm University can use the IA system to report

- incidents (including near misses)
- accidents or commuting accidents
- work-related illness
- environmental incidents
- property or security incidents
- safety observations

If you need to file a police report in connection with an incident at the university, this should also be done via the IA system.
