Taking over a course and need access to an existing list? Contact your Outreach Librarian.

Create a new List in Leganto

To set up your course:

Open Leganto.
Click the Create list button and fill in the following information:

If your course does not appear, it may not be set up in Moodle yet. The Library will link the course once it is set up.

List name – use this format: Course code Course name T# Year. For example, 'MGMT5050 Management Theory and Practice T3 2024'.
List description – optional.
Link to course – click Link to course then select the course you want to link to from the list.
Click Next (even if you weren't able to link the list to a course).
Create sections – from the drop-down menu, choose the starting template for your list:

You can fully customise the number of sections and the name of each section after this initial setup.

Default – one section called 'Resources'
Weeks – ten sections from Week 1 to Week 10
Sections – five sections from Section 1 to Section 5
Modules – ten sections from Module 1 to Module 10.
To complete setup, click Create list.
