# Course resources with Leganto

## Create a new List in Leganto
To set up your course:
1. Open [Leganto](https://unsw.alma.exlibrisgroup.com/leganto/nui/lists?auth=SAML).
2. Click the *Create list* button and fill in the following information:
If your course does not appear, it may not be set up in Moodle yet. The Library will link the course once it is set up.
- *List name* – use this format: Course code Course name T# Year. For example, 'MGMT5050 Management Theory and Practice T3 2024'.
- *List description* – optional.
- *Link to course* – click *Link to course* then select the course you want to link to from the list.
3. Click *Next (*even if you weren't able to link the list to a course).
4. *Create sections* – from the drop-down menu, choose the starting template for your list:
You can fully customise the number of sections and the name of each section after this initial setup.
- *Default* – one section called 'Resources'
- *Weeks* – ten sections from Week 1 to Week 10
- *Sections* – five sections from Section 1 to Section 5
- *Modules* – ten sections from Module 1 to Module 10.
5. To complete setup, click *Create list.*
