## Funding and help for UK students

If you’re from England, you may be eligible for:

- a [Postgraduate Master’s Loan](https://www.gov.uk/postgraduate-loan), where you can apply for up to £12,858 for your course
- government funding and loans if you want to study [a social work course](https://www.gov.uk/social-work-bursaries) or [teacher training course](https://www.gov.uk/teacher-training-funding) (such as a PGCE)
- [the Disabled Students Allowance](https://www.gov.uk/disabled-students-allowances-dsas) to help you cover some extra costs. Find out more about [funding sources if you have a disability](https://student.sussex.ac.uk/disability/funding).

You [repay your Postgraduate Master’s Loan](https://www.gov.uk/masters-loan/repayment) at the same time as other student loans you may have.

If you normally live in [Scotland](http://www.saas.gov.uk/), [Wales](http://www.studentfinancewales.co.uk/postgraduate-students.aspx#.WQITsPlViAo) or [Northern Ireland](http://www.studentfinanceni.co.uk/portal/page?_pageid=54,1265897&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL), postgraduate funding is different so check with your local student funding agency.

You may also be able to apply for a [Masters scholarship](https://www.sussex.ac.uk/study/fees-funding/masters-scholarships), which can include some fees and living costs funding.

You can also look for a [part-time or student job](https://www.sussex.ac.uk/study/careers/career-development) to help fund your Masters.

- [funding through Lanekassen](https://www.lanekassen.no/) if you are from Norway.
