The transfer application deadline is March 1. Decisions are released in early May.

Transfer students may enroll starting in the fall term only.

Transfer options

Transfer students begin their studies at Yale in either the sophomore (second) year or junior (third) year and must enroll at Yale for a minimum of two years (four terms) to qualify for a bachelor’s degree.
