# Timeline

## The transfer application deadline is March 1. Decisions are released in early May.

Transfer students may enroll starting in the **fall term only**.

## Transfer options

Transfer students begin their studies at Yale in **either the sophomore (second) year or junior (third) year** and must enroll at Yale for a minimum of two years (four terms) to qualify for a bachelor’s degree.
