# Canvas @ Yale Email Support Update

We are pleased to announce that requests for assistance made to the [**canvas@yale.edu**](mailto:canvas@yale.edu) email will now go directly to the [Educational & Engagement Technology team](https://poorvucenter.yale.edu/about/poorvu-center-staff/educational-engagement-technology-team) in the Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning. With this change you can expect a response to your email during our normal working hours of **Monday - Friday, between 8:30am and 5pm**. For support outside our normal hours, please contact the [ITS Help Desk](https://its.yale.edu/about-it/leadership-and-organization/campus-it-support).

The Educational & Engagement Technology team serves as the service owners for all of Yale’s instances of Canvas, as well as almost all integrated external tools used for teaching and learning. We look forward to supporting you in addressing any Canvas questions or issues.
