Driving Sustainable Process Innovation

The climate crisis, biodiversity loss, and depletion of natural resources demand a fundamental transformation of value-added chains in process industries. We no longer have the luxury of waiting for groundbreaking technological discoveries. The key technologies for a sustainable economy are already available and ready for industrial implementation.

The CTV research group is dedicated to translating sustainable processes into real-world applications. Our fundamental research explores future process design methods and post-transformation technologies, such as carbon removal strategies to mitigate climate change.
