Sexual Misconduct Policy and Procedures

Johns Hopkins University (JHU) is committed to promoting a safe and supportive environment for each and every member of our community. If you have experienced sexual misconduct, we encourage you to reach out for support and medical care. We are available to assist you if you would like to file a report with JHU and/or local law enforcement. The current Sexual Misconduct Policy and Procedures can be found here.

What is sexual misconduct?

The term “sexual misconduct” refers to various forms of sexual and sex-based harassment, sexual assault, stalking, dating violence, domestic violence, and sexual exploitation.  For more information, please view the Revised Interim Sexual Misconduct Policy and Procedures, which includes definitions of prohibited conduct.

Filing a sexual misconduct report

Individuals are encouraged to report sexual misconduct to the JHU Office of Institutional Equity (OIE). The information provided in a report will be kept as confidential as is reasonably possible.
