Hello! My name is Amélie, and I'm a member of the Class of 2024 from the Philadelphia suburbs. I'm a [Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE)](https://cee.princeton.edu/ "https://cee.princeton.edu/") concentrator pursuing certificates in [Statistics and Machine Learning](https://csml.princeton.edu/ "https://csml.princeton.edu/") and [Sustainable Energy.](https://acee.princeton.edu/education/program-in-sustainable-energy/ "https://acee.princeton.edu/education/program-in-sustainable-energy/")
My long-term aspiration is to save the planet. My senior thesis research studies per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) with the [Interfacial Water Group](http://bourg.princeton.edu/ "http://bourg.princeton.edu/"), and I've conducted a project on solar panels with the [Rand Lab Group](http://faculty.ee.princeton.edu/brand/ "http://faculty.ee.princeton.edu/brand/"). As a member of [Tau Beta Pi](https://tbp.princeton.edu/ "https://tbp.princeton.edu/"), I also lead tours of the engineering buildings. When I'm not in the E-quad, you can find me running around campus or visiting the Princeton Farmers' Market.
Feel free to reach out to me at [alemay@princeton.edu](mailto:alemay@princeton.edu "mailto:alemay@princeton.edu") if you have questions about life as a nerdy and eco-minded Princeton engineer.
