- Added the requirement to pay out vacation, PTO, and floating holiday during a temporary layoff that extends beyond the pay period.
- Added that a position being changed from a continuing to fixed term status would result in a layoff.
- Updated the permanent layoff notice period from 1 month to 30 days and 3 months to 90 days.
- Clarified that an employee cannot receive more than 12 months of severance pay.
- Added that an employee who receives severance pay, is rehired, and is laid off again, cannot receive more severance pay in total than an employee who is employed continuously for the same period.
