Programme Structure

The normative study period of Biomedical Sciences Programme is 4 years (8 academic terms), and students have to complete a minimum of 123 units and satisfy requirements of the following components for graduation.

• 70 units of Major Requirements

• Faculty Package (10 units)

• Major Core (28 units)
• Concentration Area (14-15 units)

• Major Electives (17-18 units)

• 39 units of University Core Requirements

• University Language (13 units)

• General Education (GE) (University GE, College GE, Foundation Courses) (19 units)
• Understanding China (1 unit)
• Hong Kong in the Wider Constitutional Order (1 unit)
• Digital Literacy and Computational Thinking (3 units)

• Physical Education (2 units)

• 14 units of Free Electives
