## Programme Structure

The normative study period of Biomedical Sciences Programme is 4 years (8 academic terms), and students have to complete a minimum of 123 units and satisfy requirements of the following components for graduation.

- 70 units of Major Requirements

- Faculty Package (10 units)
- Major Core (28 units)
- Concentration Area (14-15 units)
- Major Electives (17-18 units)

- 39 units of University Core Requirements

- University Language (13 units)
- General Education (GE) (University GE, College GE, Foundation Courses) (19 units)
- Understanding China (1 unit)
- Hong Kong in the Wider Constitutional Order (1 unit)
- Digital Literacy and Computational Thinking (3 units)
- Physical Education (2 units)

- 14 units of Free Electives
