## Recycling of small electrical and electronic items

Starting in January 2026 we will be trailing the use of 30L (pink) caddies/bins to collect small electrical and electronic items for recycling.

This will initially be implemented in the Nancy Rothwell, Engineering B and James Chadwick buildings, but if successful it will be rolled out to all academic buildings where there is a need to collect these types of items as a separate waste stream.

Labs/workshops will be provided with a 30L pink caddy (see image to right of page). When these require emptying the caddy will be collected, emptied and returned by House Services on request.
