Local health and safety management
The Organisation to implement the University health and safety policy gives details of those with health and safety management responsibilities for their areas.
This toolkit provides senior managers of Faculties, schools Directorates etc and their local safety advisors with a range of resources to
- write a local policy statement and organisation and the arrangements for its implementation
- convene a local health and safety committee and outline it's terms of reference
- help complete their annual monitoring report to OHSTAG
- refer to good practice for managing laboratories
- safely vacate/occupy work areas
