Fee reductions apply when progressing immediately to Year 2 of a standard Master of Philosophy or Doctor of Philosophy research programme.

## Fee reduction

You will be offered a reduction in tuition fees if you meet both of the following criteria:

- you are a self-funded student who is registered on a standard taught or research masters programme
- you progress immediately into Year 2 of a standard MPhil or PhD research programme

You will be offered a **reduction in tuition fees for the year that you transfer** to the MPhil or PhD.

This reduction is offered to ensure that, over the full period of your doctoral registration, you are charged the same amount as a student who registered for an MPhil/PhD in the previous session.

Please contact us for further information.
