AOS ID

Introduction

Your AOS ID is your one account for access to a multitude of technical services. The technology behind AOS ID is FreeIPA, this allows the IT department to create a single identity account that you can use to log into department websites, servers, printing, remote access and much more.

Managing your AOS ID

First make sure you are connected on the AOS network. If you are off-campus, please refer to Remote Access

You can manage your AOS ID by pointing your browser to https://kerberos.atmos.ucla.edu.

Password

Your AOS ID password is reset every 180 days and must meet the following criteria:

  1. Be at least 8 characters long
  2. Contain at least 3 of the following: uppercase, lowercase, number, symbol
  3. Not based on a dictionary word
  4. Not your last previously used password

You can change your password when you are on the AOS network(VPN or WIFI) at kerberos.atmos.ucla.edu. Once you have logged in, click on your Username for a drop-down menu, then select Change Password.
