The NYU Tandon Bridge Program helps learners from non-technical backgrounds gain the knowledge and confidence to succeed in today’s technology-driven world.

Developed and taught by faculty in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the Bridge Program provides a rigorous introduction to computer science fundamentals, mathematical reasoning, and programming. Whether you’re preparing for a STEM graduate program or pivoting into a technical role in industry, the Bridge certificate demonstrates your ability to master core computing concepts and apply them in real-world contexts.

This 100% online, non-credit course is self-paced and designed for flexibility. You will have up to one year of access to course materials, allowing you to balance professional, personal, and academic goals at your own pace.

\ The course is letter-graded, and learners must earn a grade of C (70%) or better to pass and receive a certificate credential. Grades are determined by performance on four exams taken throughout the course.
