Whether you’re preparing for a STEM graduate program or pivoting into a technical role in industry, the Bridge certificate demonstrates your ability to master core computing concepts and apply them in real-world contexts.

This 100% online, non-credit course is self-paced and designed for flexibility. You will have up to one year of access to course materials, allowing you to balance professional, personal, and academic goals at your own pace.

## Program Structure

**The Bridge Program consists of two parts:**

An optional prep course covering:

- Precalculus Foundations
- Introduction to Python

#### [Bridge Course](https://engineering.nyu.edu/nyu-tandon-bridge)

The main curriculum covering:

- Discrete Mathematics
- C++
- Data Structures
- Networking
- Operating Systems

The course is letter-graded, and learners must earn a grade of C (70%) or better to pass and receive a certificate credential. Grades are determined by performance on four exams taken throughout the course.
