Lecture Times

Lecture times for the upcoming semesters for LMU students.

Welcome and Information Events

Introductory and informational events for the degree programs usually take place during the 1st week of lectures. You may find the specific dates in the LSF-Course Catalog or at the notice board.

Safety briefings and information about the internships take place in the accompanying seminars at the beginning.

Course Enrollment

If enrollment in the LSF-Course Catalog is required, the enrollment period for these courses is usually from the end of the lecture period (after semester change in LSF) until the beginning of the next lecture period.\ Separate regulations apply for individual courses, especially for internships. Please note the corresponding comments in LSF or on the websites.\ It is usually not necessary to enroll for the courses via LSF at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy.

Where can I find information about the individual courses?

How do I register for courses?

See registering for courses above.\ With your enrollment, you will receive an LMU user ID that entitles you to access LSF-course-catalog and many other LMU systems, such as Moodle. Information on the LMU user ID can be found on the pages of the LMU IT Service Desk.

For which teaching events do I have to register?

Basically, you only have to register for the internships and exercises you want to participate in via LSF-course catalog or the CUP-website. The deadlines for registration can be found at the top of this page.

How can I get further information?

Access to Moodle

We use MOODLE as a learning management system to accompany and support our courses.

If you want to know your way around LMU Moodle better, take a look at the help page provided. To participate in courses, however, it is sufficient to know the following steps:

You can then simply scroll through the content in a course. Depending on the course, this usually includes PDFs, presentations, text announcements and videos. Sometimes lecturers also use participation options such as forums and live chats.

Computer Labs

The faculty offers all students access to computers and software in five different so-called CIP rooms (= Computer Investment Program). The CIP rooms differ in the type of operating systems and software installed. Further information can be found on the CIP pool website.

Library

The departmental Library of Chemistry and Pharmacy is the central library of Faculty 18 and brings together the collections of the four former institute libraries (Institute of Chemistry, Institute of Physical Chemistry, Institute of Pharmacy and Food Chemistry, and Institute of Pharmaceutical Biology).

You will need your LMUcard or library card to borrow books and to use many other services of the University Library.
