## Postgraduate accommodation fees
Residential contract start date for academic session 2026-2027 is **Friday 11** **September 2026.** For standard contract end date see residence details below. The option to extend your contract over Summer 2027 will be available.
The residence fees are inclusive of the following:
- Heating and utilities
- Wi-Fi internet access
- Group insurance cover for possessions
**The standard schedule for payment of accommodation fees is seven instalments from October to April.**

### Payments
- Accommodation fees must be paid through your MyCampus account.
- To complete acceptance of your accommodaiton offer, an advance prepayment of **£200** must be paid.

- **The standard schedule for payment of accommodation fees is seven instalments from October to April.**
- Direct Debit schedules showing actual payment dates and amounts will be issued **after** arrival. Typical instalments can be reviewed on the [Direct Debit page.](https://www.gla.ac.uk/postgraduate/accommodation/fees/directdebitinstalments/)
- Residents are required to accept the contract undertaking to occupy their place for the **full contract period** as stated on the contract.
- Charges above are inclusive of group insurance cover for possessions.
- 24/7 Wi-Fi Internet access in all bedrooms and communal areas is included and is controlled by the service provider to prevent inappropriate use. Users must agree to comply with [University of Glasgow IT Regulations and Code of Conduct.](https://www.gla.ac.uk/myglasgow/it/policy/codeofconduct/)
- Options for extending residence contracts from **11 June 2027** for periods up to **September 2027** will be offered to residents around **mid-February 2027**.
