Lund University has extensive research and education collaborations with universities in Australia and New Zealand, including through its membership in the Universitas 21 network.

Global Dynamic Engagement (GDE) is Lund University's approach to enhance our international impact in research, education, innovation and cooperation. In this work, democracy, human rights, academic freedom, and accountability are core values.

Through GDE, we aim to strengthen and develop our collaborations in Oceania. Our priority activities are outlined in an annual roadmap.

Exchange agreements

Our students have a strong interest in exchange studies in Australia and New Zealand. Lund University has a total of 31 student exchange agreements in Australia and 5 in New Zealand, including both university-wide and faculty-level partnerships.
